SOS indeed
Events like SOS, Live Earth are misguided attempts at doing good. No different than the use of Double Speak to lie to you under a guise of being truthful. So, the word gets out about Global Warming and the need of reducing our Carbon Foot Print. But, what good is it if the event:
- Causes the loss of a whole forest used for fliers, office paper, tickets and more,
- Offsetting the carbon debt is just a white-wash way to pretend the carbon produced is taken care of,
- The event is more about making millions of dollars which is not used to plant trees or do anyone but the uncaring already rich any good
- Will people be allowed to bring reusable containers to the concert to hold their drinks or are millions of plastic bottles and cups just going to be thrown out?
Is this concert really a failure in disguise?
